David D. Roberts,
DVM, DABVP
Doctor Roberts is a 1986
graduate of the University of
Missouri College of Veterinary
Medicine and spent his first
three years of practice at a
large, high-powered veterinary
hospital in Boston. He returned
to his hometown of St. Louis
where he founded Manchester West
Veterinary Hospital in 1993. His
experience and completion of
additional training enabled him
to obtain certification as a
Diplomate to the American Board
of Veterinary Practitioners
in 1992 and successfully
recertify in 2000 and 2011. Few
veterinarians have achieved
board certification as a
specialist in canine and feline
practice. Dr. Roberts lives in
Wildwood with his wife Sharon
and their Bouvier Cruiser.

Mary
M. Stauder,
DVM
Doctor Stauder is a St. Louis native and a 1987 graduate of the University of
Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Stauder practiced in St. Louis for
several years after graduation before
moving to Cincinnati with her husband.
While in Cincinnati she experienced a
broad range of practice styles,
including exotic pet practice. In 1992,
Dr. Stauder and her husband Tom returned
to friends and family in St. Louis to
take up permanent residence. After
practicing in Creve Coeur for 10 years,
Dr. Stauder joined the Manchester West
team in 2004. Dr. Stauder is listed as
an experienced veterinarian by the
House Rabbit Society. Dr. Stauder
lives in Wildwood with her husband Tom,
her stepson Tommy and a menagerie of
small creatures. |

Matthew
S. Bechtel, DVM
Doctor Bechtel is a 2002 graduate of the
University of Missouri, College of
Veterinary Medicine. After practicing 6
years in Sunset Hills, Dr. Bechtel
joined
the Manchester West team in 2008. Dr.
Bechtel has experience in all aspects of
small animal medicine, including rabbits
and Guinea Pigs, and a special interest
in dermatology and dentistry. Dr. Bechtel
lives in Wildwood with his wife Jayme,
daughter Olivia, dogs Gracie and Sam,
guinea pigs Lumiere and ChipChip and
seven cats – Haley, Alex, Melvin, Larry,
Rosie, Mickey and Ralph.

Sharon
Roberts
Sharon is a St. Louis native, graduated
with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from
University of Missouri – Columbia.
Sharon worked as an environmental
engineer for 20 years while assisting
her husband, David Roberts with the
start up and management of Manchester
West Veterinary Hospital. She recently
left the engineering field to spend more
time managing the hospital. Sharon lives
in Wildwood with her husband Dave and
their Bouvier Cruiser.

Beth
Luem
Beth, a St Louis native, completed the
veterinary assistant program at Midwest
Institute. Beth is the newest member of
our staff, joining Manchester West as a
veterinary technician this year after
working 3 years at a small animal
practice in Clayton. Bert and Bella, her
feline friends, keep her company at
their home in Florissant. |

Christyl
Sanders
Christyl joined Manchester West in 2008
as a veterinary technician with five
years experience in the field. She is
currently seeking a bachelor’s degree in
biology and continuing on to a degree in
veterinary medicine. Christyl is a
Colorado native who moved to Missouri to
help manage a family owned campground.
She lives in Wright City with her 2
German Shepherds Kujo and Cymba, and her
three kitties Casanova, Draco, and Binx. |

Patty
Naes
Patty, our most senior technician,
joined Manchester West in 2007 and has 6
plus years of experience as a veterinary
technician. She grew up in St. Louis and
now
lives in Lonedell, MO with her husband
Tim, children Timothy and Amanda, horses
Tuffy and Chico, dogs Smokey, Peanut,
and Colby, and cats Myia and Chubs. |

Michele
Wilkes
Michele joined Manchester West in 2009
as a veterinary technician after
returning to her hometown of St. Louis
from Little Rock, Arkansas. She has five
plus years of experience as a veterinary
technician and is currently studying to
become a veterinarian. Michele lives
with her three “furry kids” Mariachi the
Pekingese, Dubrinsky the Shih Tzu, and
Pochuko the Tuxedo Cat. |

Linda
Wright
Linda has been with Manchester
West since it’s inception in
1993. While her job title is
officially receptionist, Linda
wears many hats including
controlling hospital inventory
and filling in as a technician.
Though she was born in Portland,
OR, her family was military so
they lived in many different
locations (nationally and
internationally) before settling
in St. Louis. Linda lives in
Wildwood with husband Rick and
two cats; Apache and Nina. |

Lynn
Lynn began working as a receptionist for
Manchester West in 2007. She has worked
in the veterinary field for 10 years as
both a technician and a receptionist.
Lynn, a
St. Louis native, graduated from
Lindbergh High School. Lynn lives with
her dog Peaches, and 4 cats, Simba,
Molly, Marley and Layla. |

Fogertey
Judy joined Manchester West in 2008 as a
receptionist with six plus years of
experience in small animal practices.
She is a native St. Louisan and lives in
Wildwood
with her Malti-Poo Emma and Lola the
Himalayan.

Kelli
McGinnis
Kelli has been a professional groomer
for 7 years and has groomed for
Manchester West’s Central Bark West for
the past 3 years. She is a native of St.
Charles and
currently lives in Moscow Mills with her
two Boxers Mylee and Duke, and Nolan the
Tabby. |

Dawn
Lohse
Dawn has been a professional pet groomer
for 20 years, 11 of which have been with
Manchester West’s Central Bark West. She
is a St. Louis native, living in Union
with her Chihuahua Mesee who frequently
“helps” her groom.

Amanda
Naes
Amanda joined Manchester
West as a Kennel Attendant in 2009.
She's completed the first year
of the Registered Veterinary
Technician program at Jefferson
College and, as part of the
program’s requirements, is
completing an internship with Manchester West.
In her free time, Amanda competes in
rodeo events - barrel racing and pole bending. |

Heather Dodge
Heather
also joined Manchester
West as a Kennel Attendant in
2009. She's completed her first

works at Six Flags during the summer
