Ellisville Dog Park

Fund Raising Goal

  • Our goal is to raise $20,000.
  • We hope to open in September of 2012 with the first phase of the project.
  • We plan to have small dog and large dog parks.
  • You don't have to be a resident of Ellisville to join.
  • Cost is $40 per year for up to three dogs.
  • No tax dollars will be used; all funds come from donations from individuals, civic groups and businesses.
  • The fund is managed by the City of Ellisville.

Who We Are
Park Committee is a dog loving group of residents from Ellisville and neighboring cities that formed to explore the possibility of a dog park in the West County area that would be open to all municipalities. The committee has a location approved within Bluebird Park, and is currently working on fundraising and initial design layouts. The building of this park will rely solely on volunteers, donations and fundraising. No tax dollars will be used.

How To Support The Dog Park:
The Ellisville Dog Park Committee meets the first Tuesday or each month at 6 pm at the Bluebird Parks Administration Building. Various volunteer opportunities are available. No time to volunteer? No problem. Ellisville Dog Park merchandise is available for purchase or financial donations are also kindly accepted. Please contact Linda Reel  (636-386-3983) about making a financial donation to the building of the Ellisville Dog Park.

Mission Statement:
To construct a fenced in, "Off Leash" dog park for well-behaved canine citizens and their owners. This environment will provide a clean and safe space without endangering and/or annoying people, property and wildlife all without using city tax dollars.
